Could you be the young designer of the 2026 t-shirt? Imagine seeing your creation worn by hundreds of school children, parents, siblings, and friends on race day!

Entries for the 2026 competition will open after this year's event. To enter, you must be taking part in the 2026 Mini Marathon—so make sure you sign up first! Then, simply click the link below to complete the application form and submit your design.

Every child of school age between 4 and 17 is automatically entered into the Mini Marathon Schools Challenge competition when the relevant school is added to the Mini Marathon entry form.

Prizes are awarded based on the top three performing children from an individual school in these age categories, U7, U9, U11, U13, U15 and finally U17. There are both male and female categories and the top three children from the top three performing schools will all be awarded at a special presentation evening a few weeks post the main event. Winning schools and students will be invited to an awards evening that will take place approximately 6-8 weeks after the event. Details of the evening will be sent out when the winners are confirmed.
